We support owners and operators of parabolic trough plants to reduce H2 levels with readily available measures. The graph above shows results from a commercial 50 MW plant in Spain which used our HTF modelling and recommendations to test and implement H2 mitigation strategies.
The blue trend is modelled with our in-house software tool to evaluate future H2 evolution. It was then validated with regular measurements (red dots). This demonstrates that our simulation, which offers different mitigation scenarios, provides a very accurate forecast – and, more importantly, that the chosen measures have helped to reduce and control the H2 concentration in the HTF.
